Museum of Illusions in Detroit is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee museum staff during shifts, ensure guest satisfaction, and manage day-to-day operations. You will coordinate 7–10 floor staff, handle guest requests, and supervise opening/closing tasks to maintain a high standard of visitor experience.

The role requires strong communication, conflict resolution, and a customer-focused mindset, with willingness to escalate issues to management when needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a customer facing role.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Experience in the arts, entertainment, performance or hospitality industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 7–10 floor staff during shifts.
• Provide first contact customer service and handle refunds.
• Resolve guest concerns and escalate to management.
• Ensure museum exhibits are operating and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
