Job summary

Open Arms Care is seeking a Shift Supervisor (caregiver) for the Day Program in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on mentoring Direct Support Professionals, overseeing care plans, and maintaining a safe, organized living environment.

You will coordinate with site operations, manage supplies, and ensure timely documentation and reporting. CPR and PCM certifications are required within set timeframes; supervisory experience is preferred to lead teams effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• PCM certification within 60 days of hire.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent OAC professionally in conservator interactions, community meetings, events and social functions.
• Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment for all employees including planned engagement activities.
• Communicate and follow through with plans of care for clients by providing instructions and directions to on-site work teams.
• Weekly update of supply inventories.
• Ensure a safe and clean living and working environment per facility safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure documentation compliance including bed checks, shift notes, and repositioning notes.
• On assigned shifts, ensure the completion of documentation in Quantum Compliance including program documentation and staff assignments.
• Promote positive participation in client events, scheduled events, and outings.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals on shift and site.
• Complete on-call for the assigned shift on a rotating basis.
• Submit required documentation, reports, assignments, etc., timely.
