Open Arms Care in Nashville seeks a dedicated supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals, guide client plans, and maintain a safe, organized environment. You will coach staff, monitor documentation, and ensure compliance with care plans and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• 3+ years with ID/DD clients preferred.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• PCM certification within 60 days of hire required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to coach and train direct reports.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and other computer apps preferred.
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Represent OAC professionally in conservator interactions, meetings, events.
• Foster a supportive, collaborative work environment and engage staff.
• Communicate plans of care to work teams on site.
• Weekly inventory updates.
• Maintain safe, clean living/working spaces per safety standards.
• Ensure documentation compliance and staff performance feedback.
• Complete on-site documentation in Quantum Compliance.
• Promote client participation in events and outings.
• Supervise DSPs on shift and site.
• On-call coverage on a rotating basis.
• Submit timely reports and documentation.
• Assist SOM with Employee Development Plans.
• Ensure daily task compliance for all staff.
• Provide coaching during on-floor and 1:1 supervision.
• Onboard new DSPs and others as assigned.
• Engage clients in meaningful active treatment.
• Attend trainings, meetings and committees.
• Advocate for client wants/needs.
• Support mission, vision, and values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
