Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements. You will help train new team members and monitor cash handling compliance.

The role involves opening, daily and closing procedures and cross-functional kitchen tasks. The position requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays across

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Able to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Open/close procedures and daily checklists per policy.
• Operate POS, process payments, and follow cash handling rules.
• Maintain food safety: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, rotating.
• Handle kitchen tasks: prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
