Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in Ohio is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift activities, deliver friendly service, and uphold food safety and brand standards.

You will manage opening/closing procedures, operate POS, handle cash, coach team members, and cross-sell offerings while ensuring guest satisfaction across our travel plazas.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Assist with kitchen tasks and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
