Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a team on shift at our travel plazas in the Northeast and Midwest. You will provide friendly customer service, manage opening/closing duties, and ensure accurate cash handling and POS operations.

Responsibilities include food safety, kitchen tasks, stock control, and training new team members. Flexible scheduling and opportunities to advance within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures per company policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, packaging, labeling, dating, stocking, rotating and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and safety policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of issues and observations.
• Execute other assigned tasks.
