Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Clyde, OH seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead a plaza team, ensure outstanding customer service, manage cash handling, and maintain brand standards and food safety requirements. You will train new staff and oversee opening, closing, and daily tasks.

Responsibilities include operating POS, performing kitchen duties, stocking and cleaning, and cross-selling products.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate the POS system and handle payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including packaging, labeling, dating and storage.
• Support kitchen tasks such as prep, cooking and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and company policies.
• Inform leadership of observations or problems as they arise.
