Job summary

Miguel’s Jr. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead teams on shift, coordinating with the GM/AGM and ensuring strong guest service across FOH and BOH. This role emphasizes leadership development toward higher management opportunities.

The position calls for 1–2 years of supervisory experience in food service, solid communication skills, and basic MS Office proficiency. English predominates with Spanish skills considered a plus. This is an on-site role at our Corona location.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in food service.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication to effectively lead a team.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and coordinate with GM/AGM to ensure smooth shift performance.
• Communicate with the next shift supervisor to ensure a proper handover of team and operations.
• May assist GM with interviewing and hiring of new team members.
• Lead guest service and rally the team to deliver quality experiences.
• Enforce restaurant policies as described in the Employee Handbook.
• Maintain office duties and related paperwork.
