Job summary

SSC Services For Education in Florence, AL is hiring for a full-time Shift Supervisor. You will direct the activities of associates on a designated shift and ensure policy compliance while meeting quality, safety and productivity expectations.

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.

• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity and safety targets.
• Act as contact person for employee concerns or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees, encouraging advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring immediately for full‑time SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions.

Location: University of North Alabama – 553 Oakview Circle, Florence, AL 35632. (Openings at other locations within the school district available.) Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full‑time schedules; days may vary, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. More details upon interview. (Full and part‑time with flexibility to meet most scheduling needs.)

Pay Range: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
