Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor for the University of North Alabama, Towers Dining Hall in Florence, AL. You will direct the activities of associates during a shift, ensure that tasks align with policies, and maintain high standards of service, safety, and teamwork.

• Schedule: Full time; Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous fast food supervisory experience is required. Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $13.00 per hour to $15.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
