Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Maple Shade, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and enforce brand standards across the plaza.

You will train new team members, manage cash handling, assist with opening and closing procedures, and help maintain food safety while supporting a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This role requires flexible scheduling and a strong teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system, process payments, and follow all customer service and cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Complete various kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain solid knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Follow required brand standards, food safety requirements, as well as all company policies and procedures.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems and take appropriate action.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
