Job summary

Applegreen is looking for a Shift Supervisor to lead store shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and enforce brand standards and food safety across a busy travel plaza. You will train new team members, monitor cash handling, and uphold operating procedures with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction.

You will manage opening and closing tasks, support a friendly team environment, and help drive sales through knowledge of products and services while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Follow food safety and brand standards and policies.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
