Job summary

Burger King in Florida is seeking a Shift Coordinator to oversee restaurant operations during assigned shifts, directing Team Members, managing labor and inventory, and ensuring compliance with policies. The role carries full accountability when management is absent and aims to deliver fast, friendly service.

You will open and close the restaurant, coach Team Members on workstations, respond to guest feedback, and uphold food safety and cash-control procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of all BKC certification programs

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations (labor, inventory variance, guest feedback) during assigned shifts, including opening and closing
• Provide production direction to Team Members clearly and concisely
• Lead by example to implement shift plan and ensure swift production
• Delegate to encourage teamwork and ensure compliance with company standards
• Motivate Team Members to exceed guest expectations with food and friendly service
• Address guest feedback and resolve complaints in a timely, friendly manner
• Direct, train and motivate Team Members across workstations during shift
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, policies, and procedures
• Report safety, sanitation, and policy violations promptly and implement short-term solutions
• Maintain loss control and a safe environment for customers and staff
• Complete cash reporting, inventory control, and scheduling checklists during shift
• May perform essential Team Member duties as needed
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts
