Job summary

Burger King in Westgate Lake Manor, Florida is seeking an Hourly Shift Coordinator to lead a shift and help deliver great guest service, sales and profitability. You will support the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager during assigned shifts and directly supervise crew members to achieve operational goals.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of quick-service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Follow cash control and security procedures, including safe counting and cash drawers.
• Maintain inventory with daily and weekly inspections and receive truck orders.
• Motivate and direct Crew Members to exceed guest expectations with fast, friendly service.
• Coach Crew Members to increase restaurant performance.
• Direct shift plan execution and drive operational results.
• Ensure prompt product preparation and delivery within speed-of-service guidelines.
• Review restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement.
• Perform Crew Member duties when necessary.
