Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Operations Manager. The role covers shift operations, supervision of technicians and customer service staff, and ensuring objectives are met across quality, safety, and asset targets.

It offers development toward Ops Manager with cross‑functional training and opportunities for advancement. Location: Ocala, FL. Hours: 6:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred or 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment.
• Maintenance and Technical experience in a shop environment required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with a Shop Management System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Workflow Management: plan, schedule, assign work to technicians and track productivity.
• Labor Management: training and development of personnel and performance management.
• Customer Management: manage customer relationships and ensure vehicle uptime.
• Asset Management: maintain shop appearance, tool/equipment needs, and vehicle specs.
• Quality Management: inspections, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Financial Management: monitor maintenance budget, payroll, POs, and cost targets.
• Additional Responsibilities: perform other duties as assigned.
