Wonder is hiring a Shift Supervisor at its Stamford location to lead the kitchen team during opening, prep and closing duties, ensuring top-quality food and service. You will work with chef leadership and other departments to maintain stock, safety, and strong cost controls while guiding staff through daily operations.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a QSR or full-service restaurant, with excellent communication and a professional leadership style.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervising or leading team members in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professionalism and adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team during opening, prep and closing duties.
• Coordinate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure high quality service.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Maintain communication to ensure stock and supplies are adequate, assist with ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and hygiene across back-of-house areas and schedule adherence.
• Monitor kitchen costs and keep within budget guidelines.
• Ensure equipment is safe, functional and properly used.
• Lead pre/post-service briefings with front and back-of-house staff.
• Help maintain operating and quality standards and uphold professional leadership.
• Participate in training, coaching and development for restaurant employees.
