Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team in driving store execution and performance with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. In the absence of a manager, you will lead staff, ensure smooth operations, and complete opening and closing procedures.

You will work with the management team, supervise crews, and uphold CVS customer service standards, confidentiality, and accurate merchandising.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff in the absence of the manager or Operations Supervisor, ensuring opening and closing procedures are completed.
• Supervise the store crew through assigning, directing and following up on activities; ensure smooth store operations.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote CVS customer service culture.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves and manage displays and weekly/promotional merchandise.
