Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams and ensure top-notch customer service at our Fort Lee plaza. You will manage cash handling, POS operations, and daily opening/closing tasks while upholding brand and food safety standards.

You will train new hires and help maintain a friendly, efficient environment for travelers. Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience are required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, energetic manner.
• Flexible to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve issues.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments accurately.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling and dating of products.
• Prepare and assist with kitchen tasks including cooking and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and safety procedures.
• Escalate concerns to plaza leadership as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
