Job summary

SSP America in Virginia is hiring Shift Supervisors to work at Urban Craves inside the Washington Dulles International Airport. Great pay and immediate opportunities to join a fast-paced food & beverage team.

The role entails greeting guests, supervising shifts, training new hires, completing opening/closing checklists, coaching staff, and ensuring SSP standards are met. TSA background check required; 18+; HS diploma; 1 year industry experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in food & beverage preferred.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with guests and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Run shifts according to SSP standards and procedures.
• Train new hires on operational standards and processes.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Provide support, coaching and direction to team to deliver business goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate for this position has:

• Can pass a 10-Year TSA Background Check
• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience in the food & beverage industry
• Full Service and/or Quick Service restaurant experience, preferred
• Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.
