The GEO Group is seeking a Security Monitor to coordinate administrative and operational security on a rotating shift in a residential re-entry center. You will lead staff, ensure security coverage, and enforce post orders while maintaining safety protocols.

Responsibilities include conducting counts, logging activities, training new hires, and addressing incidents swiftly. Strong written communication and ability to operate under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to write legible reports in English with proper grammar.
• Ability to plan, motivate, and train staff; react to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative and operational security on a shift in a residential re-entry center.
• Lead staff during assigned shift to ensure adequate security coverage.
• Read and follow post orders; conduct resident counts and daily logs.
• Train new employees and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain safety practices and report incidents; communicate clearly with staff and residents.
