Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is hiring for a shift-based security coordinator in a residential re-entry center. You will coordinate administrative and operational security activities, lead staff during your shift, and ensure comprehensive post coverage and safety compliance.

You will maintain logs, conduct counts, train new employees, and prepare required security reports. Strong English writing and communication skills are essential as is a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year as Monitor I or 2 years related experience; leadership preferred.
• Must hold a current and active Driver’s License.
• Ability to write legible reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative and operational security on a specific shift.
• Lead staff, schedule, and train employees.
• Conduct resident counts and supervise staff and residents on shift.
• Prepare staff logs, disciplinary reports and other administrative reports.
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, visitors and the general public.
