Job summary

GEO Reentry Services LLC is seeking a Security Monitor to coordinate administrative and operational security on a designated shift within a residential re-entry center. You will effectively lead staff to maintain adequate security coverage and ensure post orders are followed.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and experience in supervision. You will document logs, train staff, and respond to emergencies while maintaining clear communication with residents

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to write legible reports in English.
• Ability to plan, motivate, control, schedule, train and respond to emergencies.
• Must be able to work any assigned shift.
• Must be able to work with computers and applicable software.

Responsibilities

• Reads, understands and complies with post orders for the assigned post.
• Ensures resident counts are conducted.
• Leads Monitor staff and residents, trains new employees, resolves issues, schedules, and approves leave.
• Maintains daily logs, visitor logs, and facility checks.
• Supports safety practices and prepares incident reports as required.
