Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisor/leadership role.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing.
• BS degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Strong oral and written communication and leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of LEAN six sigma.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.
• Lead production activities to meet safety, quality, production and cost goals.
• Plan, coordinate and direct production operations for maximum output and quality.
• Diagnose machine and tooling problems and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in special projects.
• Assist in selecting, hiring, and training personnel where applicable.
• Ensure regulatory quality system requirements are met.
• Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting.
