Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Production Supervisor to support manufacturing operations on critically staffed areas. The supervisor will lead all aspects of production for the facility during the assigned shift, driving safety, quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge and the ability to guide a diverse frontline team. The position emphasizes managing hourly staff, planning and directing production operations, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing including at least 2 years in a Supervisor/leadership role.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing.
• BS degree in engineering from accredited college or university is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Requires developed and strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.
• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.
• Manages hourly population of employees.
• Lead activities within manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, production and cost goals.
• Coordinate production operations to ensure maximum output and quality.
• May be responsible for multiple product lines.
• Contribute to selecting, hiring and training personnel where applicable.
• Ensure regulatory quality system requirements are met.
• Drive compliance to area standards and procedures.
• Diagnose machine and tooling problems and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
• Deliver products as part of a team.
• Work on cross functional teams.
