Alpine, an ITW Company, is seeking a shift supervisor to lead hourly production staff, execute the production plan, and ensure safe, efficient operations in a manufacturing setting in Illinois. The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and effective communication across shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration or related field.
• Experience facilitating or supervising in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership experience in an empowered work team environment.
• Disciplined self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily shift production and provides front-line leadership to hourly production employees under the Plant Manager.
• Executes the approved production plan, assigns and prioritizes work, monitors performance and safety.
• Monitor staffing, equipment, material availability, capacity, and production flow; escalate changes as needed.
• Provide training, coaching, performance management, and performance reviews.
• Complete shift handoff and ensure continuity with maintenance and shipping departments.
• Develop talent and maximize team effectiveness; set expectations and coach for development.
