Job summary

ITW’s Alpine unit is seeking a shift supervisor to oversee daily production and lead hourly staff under the Plant Manager’s direction. You will implement the production plan, assign tasks, and ensure safe, efficient operations that meet quality and customer needs.

You will also manage staffing, equipment, and materials while escalating issues and coaching team members. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential in this self-directed role.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Experience in facilitating or supervising in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership experience in an empowered work team environment.
• Disciplined self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily shift production and provides front-line leadership to hourly production employees.
• Executes the approved production plan and assigns work.
• Monitors staffing, equipment, material availability, and production constraints.
• Escalates issues requiring changes to the approved plan.
• Provides training, coaching, and performance management.
