Job summary

Dyno Nobel in Illinois is seeking a Production Supervisor responsible for safe, efficient production operations, providing leadership to off-shift staff across multi-value streams. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will drive zero-harm initiatives and ensure compliance with HSE standards while meeting production targets.

You will lead teams, coach employees, monitor KPIs, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including RCA and change management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related technical experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Ability to understand Safety, Quality, Capacity and Continuous Improvement aspects of all processes.
• Must satisfy the requirements for a "possessor of explosives" as defined by BATFE.
• Ability to read and interpret Safety rules, Work Instructions, Process Specs and Quality Plans.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations.
• Lead, motivate and develop employees.
• Track KPIs for the departments.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Direct and coordinate operation resources to meet customer demands.
• Foster alignment to manufacturing strategies through continuous improvement and change management.
• Coordinate and lead daily manufacturing teams including reporting and planning.
• Communicate with stakeholders.
• Provide manufactured products to meet the expectations of customers.
• Optimize department resources.
