Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Production Supervisor to assist the shift supervisor in directing daily production activities, training staff, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment. You will help maximize efficiency, ensure quality products, and uphold GMP/HACCP standards across the facility.

Responsibilities include overseeing break and vacation relief, mentoring operators, and ensuring deadlines are met while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of manufacturing/production experience with leadership.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor in directing daily production activities and training.
• Assist production shifts in the absence of the supervisor.
• Understand product flow and aid in training new and current employees.
• Perform duties of an operator including records, operation, shutdown, and cleaning.
• Fill in for vacationing or sick production positions as needed.
• Support safety as the priority and maintain quality within specs.
• Ensure equipment runs within accepted parameters and monitor GMP/HACCP compliance.
