Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. in High Point, NC is seeking a production supervisor to lead daily operations on the first shift (Mon-Fri 5:30am-2:00pm with Saturdays as needed).

You will direct production employees, monitor milk receiving, pasteurization, packaging, and related processes to meet quality and schedule goals. You will coach and develop staff, enforce safety, GMPs, and company policies, coordinate with maintenance, and ensure clear communication through shift meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably food/beverage.
• Leadership aptitude with team lead or supervisory experience.
• Certifications or licenses may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign work, and direct production employees.
• Monitor operations (milk receiving, standardizing, pasteurization, filling, packaging).
• Ensure equipment is functional, cleaned, and sanitized; coordinate repairs.
• Promote safe work practices; report injuries promptly.
• Administer GMP, health, safety, and quality programs.
• Supervise scheduling to meet orders and production goals.
• Communicate with staff via shift meetings and informal channels.
• Conduct evaluations, training, and coaching; manage discipline when needed.
