Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food/beverage.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude, team lead or supervisory experience.
• Certification and/or license may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign work, and provide clear direction to production employees.
• Monitor milk receiving, standardizing, pasteurization, separating, freezing, cooling, filling and packaging to meet standards.
• Oversee equipment use and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Promote safe work behaviors and report injuries to HR.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations; administer related programs.
• Supervise production scheduling to meet orders and inventory needs.
• Identify ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain positive working relationships and enforce policies with HR support for grievances.
• Communicate with employees through meetings and informal channels.
• Complete supervisory tasks such as promotions, transfers, timekeeping, performance reviews, training, and coaching.
• Maintain safe working conditions and regulatory compliance.
• Follow GMP and sanitation requirements; adapt to additional duties as needed.
