Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Front-Line Supervisor to lead the Bayport PO/TBA Plant operations. You will supervise up to 15 operators, ensuring safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant performance and adherence to site standards.

You will coach and develop operators, coordinate with maintenance and engineers, and uphold safety and quality across shifts. Excellent leadership and communication are essential, with experience in process equipment operations valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing plant operations experience.
• Strong leadership and supervision skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of process equipment operations and basic chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise safe, reliable shift operations.
• Maintain a visible field presence to assess risks.
• Develop and coach a shift team of up to 15 operators.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to meet unit objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and site procedures.
• Shut down equipment if required to meet emergency conditions.
