LyondellBasell Industries is seeking a First Line Supervisor for the La Porte site to lead daily maintenance activities, ensure safe and reliable operations, and drive performance in line with the business plan. You will coordinate resources, monitor metrics, and mentor technicians while upholding HSE standards.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years as a Maintenance Millwright, strong leadership, and experience supervising teams on rotating shifts.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Maintenance Millwright in the petrochemical industry.
• Two years of Step-up Supervisor or similar leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to supervise and motivate others with leadership and teamwork.
• Demonstrated independent decision making.
• Must work 12-hour, 7-day rotating shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Understand and follow strict EHS, environmental and quality policies.
• Willing to work outdoors year-round in varying weather.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate, direct and manage daily activities within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure safe, efficient and reliable execution of activities for La Porte site units.
• Provide leadership, set expectations and give timely feedback.
• Monitor performance indicators and participate in troubleshooting.
• Ensure availability of resources to maintain safe operation of site assets.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify problems and implement improvements.
• Oversee budgeting and OT cost control; manage off-hours maintenance accountability.
• Drive site performance in line with the business plan and standards.
