Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Typically a minimum of 8 years of manufacturing plant operations experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
Sound knowledge of process equipment operations and basic process chemistry.
Knowledge of company policies, operating procedures, and safety/environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a shift of up to 15 operators with strong operational discipline.
Maintain visible field presence to assess risks and staff needs.
Develop and coach shift team, addressing performance and discipline.
Coordinate with unit specialists, engineers, and management to meet objectives.
Ensure unit procedures, equipment knowledge, and safety practices are followed.
Interface with maintenance, project engineering, and construction personnel on tasks and projects.
Investigate incidents, deploy corrective actions, and troubleshoot issues.
