Job summary

LyondellBasell in Perrysburg, OH is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to plan, organize and control production and oversee logistics for the Advanced Polymers Solutions division. You will lead the plant to meet schedules, safety standards and budget while ensuring products are produced efficiently and on time.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will coordinate with Technical, Maintenance, Quality and Logistics teams, drive continuous improvement, coach staff, and implement standard

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field with 5 years in manufacturing management.
• 8+ years in manufacturing management preferred.
• Experience with Operational Excellence and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels and make independent decisions.
• Establish and maintain safety, environmental and health standards.
• Proficient with production software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control production and oversee logistics.
• Coordinate production scheduling, safety, quality and maintenance.
• Lead plant to meet customer expectations and process metrics.
• Develop and implement SOPs for production operations and logistics.
• Prepare production reports and manage budget and costs.
• Drive LEAN continuous improvement and risk reduction.
• Coach and develop production staff.
