Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Recycling center in Jurupa Valley to lead a team of up to 12 operators. You will ensure safe, on-spec operations and coordinate with maintenance, process engineers, and project teams to meet site objectives.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of plant operations experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and solid knowledge of process equipment and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of plant operations experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Leadership, coaching and supervision skills are required.
• Sound knowledge of process equipment operation and basic process chemistry.
• Familiarity with company policies, plant operating procedures and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop a high performing shift team and operators skills.
• Ensure unit operations meet business and site objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of procedures, equipment and personnel for safety, maintenance and quality.
• Interface with maintenance, process engineers and project teams on outages and projects.
• Report, investigate and initiate corrective actions for issues.
• Train and evaluate operator performance and ensure policy compliance.
