Nordstrom's Dubuque Distribution Center is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of about 20 hourly associates on a 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00AM-2:30PM). You will own safety, quality, productivity, and cost, driving outcomes beyond supervision.

In this role you will coach and develop staff, monitor shift-level financial results, and guide continuous improvement through data-driven problem solving. Collaboration across shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
• Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement actions.
• Proven capability to develop others and grow leadership.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs (key performance indicators).
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Ability to analyze data and translate into action.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of about 20 warehouse associates.
• Own shift-level financial results; monitor budget and variances.
• Drive continuous improvement through problem-solving and cross-shift coordination.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
• Partner across shifts and departments to keep the operation unified.
