Job summary

ADM is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Decatur, IL corn plant to oversee daily safety, quality, and production activities on the shift. The role mentors front-line operators and collaborates with contractors and ADM colleagues to ensure proper training and resources for safe, efficient work.

The plant operates as a union facility with a large workforce and significant production scope. The position requires a high school diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience, with flexibility for

Qualifications

• Previous plant processing and leadership experience (in a union environment is a plus).
• Proven ability to lead and mentor colleagues and build teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work a rotating shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of hourly production colleagues to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Provide resources and training to ensure safe and efficient task performance.
• Lead safety, GMP and environmental inspections and address hazards.
• Evaluate colleague performance and provide regular feedback.
• Attend and participate in operation area, safety, and supervisor meetings.
