Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in manufacturing.
• Understanding of HR, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Strong coaching, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Able to manage schedules, performance feedback, and corrective actions.
• Ability to hire, interview, and orient new staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members within a mill department or shift.
• Ensure safety culture and compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and maintenance programs.
• Align site activities with the business plan and communicate goals and metrics.
• Train and develop staff, manage performance, and handle scheduling and daily assignments.
• Assist with hiring, interviewing, and orientation processes.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain documentation per guidelines.
• Drive process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives as directed.
• Other duties as assigned and model company core values.
