Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred or 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment required. Demonstrated success in a Ryder role may be substituted for this requirement.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment required. Demonstrated success in a Ryder role may be substituted for this requirement.
• Maintenance and Technical experience in a shop environment required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with a Shop Management System preferred.
• Microsoft Office intermediate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Workflow Management: Plan, schedule, assign work to technicians; track productivity; conduct shop meetings; review RO.
• Labor Management: Provide training and development; manage performance of all assigned personnel.
• Customer Management: Manage customer relationships; ensure vehicle uptime; communicate PM schedules and status; visit customers as needed.
• Asset Management: Direct reports to maintain shop area; oversee tooling; manage vehicle specs and parts inventory.
• Quality Management: Perform PM and non-PM inspections; diagnose root causes; ensure repair quality and safety.
• Financial Management: Control maintenance costs; manage payroll, POs, invoices, and bill-backs; ensure data integrity.
