Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Shift Supervisor at our Du Quoin facility to lead one or more major functions. You will plan shifts, manage equipment and manpower, uphold safety and quality, and sustain production flow while coordinating maintenance and cross-department collaboration.

You will coach operators, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to procedures, driving continuous improvement and lean practices across the plant.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan work for the shift and optimize equipment and manpower.
• Ensure safety, quality, and production flow to schedule.
• Coach and evaluate team performance; address grievances.
• Maintain attendance, overtime, and labor records; approve time in system.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to keep lines running.
• Apply lean practices (6S, Visual Management, RTFT, Tier Communication) to sustain improvements.
