Job summary

Prysmian’s Du Quoin, IL facility seeks a Production Coordinator to supervise and coordinate shift manufacturing functions, ensuring efficient use of equipment and materials while meeting production schedules and quality targets.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in manufacturing leadership, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to drive safety, efficiency and continuous improvement in a high‑performance environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and meet production schedules.
• Demonstrated accuracy, safety compliance, and waste reduction focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate shift work across one or more major manufacturing functions.
• Ensure material availability, equipment readiness, and training for staff.
• Monitor safety, efficiency, and quality; reduce scrap and downtime.
• Maintain shift records for attendance, overtime, and timekeeping (ADP).
• Lead continuous improvement efforts using lean tools and communication.
• Address grievances per policy and coordinate with other departments.
