Responsibilities include coordinating teams, ensuring safety practices, updating schedules, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining alignment with policies and the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in technical field or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ recent experience in a mining/mineral processing facility or heavy industry.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate, delegate, and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, facilitate, and motivate employees to safely and efficiently execute and complete their work assignments.
• Promote safe work practices through training and supervision.
• Update scheduling on daily and weekly carry-over work.
• Supervise hourly employees and maximize operating efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with policies and the collective bargaining agreement.
• Monitor plant performance and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
