Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking a Shift Manager Operations at its Cleveland, OH plant to lead safety, quality and production. The role coordinates daily activities for hourly employees and interfaces with maintenance and leadership to ensure reliable operations in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities include audits, directing staff on safety rules, and driving improvements in productivity, quality, and safety while maintaining a positive, accountable work culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; exposure to databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety, quality audits and ensure compliance.
• Provide clear direction and accountability on safety rules and procedures.
• Lead hourly personnel and oversee production operations in a 24/7 environment.
• Schedule, supervise, and coach hourly operators and maintenance staff.
• Train and develop employees, fostering safety, teamwork and production excellence.
• Collaborate with maintenance, planners and schedulers on maintenance activities.
• Make timely decisions in a fast-paced setting and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, quality, safety and productivity.
