Job summary

Zalat in Dallas is seeking a Shift Manager (Line Coach) to lead the cook line, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed while delivering Customer 4 Life service. You will also learn purchasing, receiving, accounting processes, and inventory to support strong financial performance.

You will coach opening and closing procedures and handle daily tasks like Jolt list and PECs, maintaining facilities and equipment to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Supervise a team with at least 1 year of experience.
• Hold a valid Food Manager Safety Certification, or be willing to complete upon hire.
• Exhibiting strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Managing and adhering to schedules.
• Successful completion of a mandatory background check.

Responsibilities

The Shift Manager (Line Coach) is responsible for coaching and leading the day-to-day operational and financial excellence of Zalat by being a coach and a leader to their peers and demonstrating decision-making that supports operational excellence and the embodiment of Customer 4 Life Service.

A great line coach will:

• Manage the cook line to drive the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed
• Learn and complete operational support functions (i.e. purchasing, receiving, accounting processes, inventory) to ensure operational excellence and high financial performance
• Coach and lead shift opening and closing procedures to maintain our facilities and equipment to the highest standards
• Responsible for doing daily tasks like Jolt list, PECs, and any other daily tasks assigned to management

Requirements
