Job summary

Zalat Pizza is seeking a Shift Manager (Line Coach) to lead day-to-day operations with a focus on safety, quality, and guest service. You will coach peers, drive operational excellence, and help achieve strong financial performance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires supervising a team, completing required certifications if needed, and maintaining effective scheduling and communication across shifts. Background checks will be completed as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervising a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and adhere to schedules.
• Willingness to complete a background check if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cook line to maintain safety, cleanliness, quality and speed.
• Learn and perform operational support tasks (purchasing, receiving, accounting, inventory) to support financial performance.
• Lead shift opening and closing procedures and maintain facilities and equipment to high standards.
• Complete daily tasks such as Jolt list and PECs, plus any other duties assigned to management.
