Job summary

Zalat Pizza is seeking a Shift Manager (Line Coach) to lead day-to-day operations and coach peers while driving safety, cleanliness, quality and speed on the cook line. You will handle purchasing, receiving, accounting processes and inventory to support strong financial performance.

Additionally, you will coach opening/closing procedures and complete daily management tasks such as the Jolt list and PECs, ensuring facilities and equipment meet the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Food Manager Safety Certification.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and adhere to shift schedules.
• Successful completion of a mandatory background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cook line to drive the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed
• Learn and complete operational support functions (i.e. purchasing, receiving, accounting processes, inventory) to ensure operational excellence and high financial performance
• Coach and lead shift opening and closing procedures to maintain our facilities and equipment to the highest standards
• Responsible for doing daily tasks like Jolt list, PECs, and any other daily tasks assigned to management

A Great Line Coach Will

Requirements

• Supervising a team with at least 1 year of experience
• Hold a valid Food Manager Safety Certification, or willing to obtain upon hire
• Exhibiting strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Managing and adhering to schedules
• Successful completion of a mandatory background check
