Job summary

Zalat Pizza is seeking a Shift Manager (Line Coach) to lead day-to-day restaurant operations and financial performance. You will coach peers, ensure safety, cleanliness, and high-speed service while exemplifying Customer 4 Life Service.

In this role you will oversee the cook line, learn purchasing, receiving, and inventory processes, and guide opening/closing shifts. The position requires at least 1 year supervising a team, a Food Manager Safety Certification, and a reliable background check.

Qualifications

• Supervising a team with at least 1 year of experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and adhere to work schedules.
• Successful completion of a mandatory background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cook line to drive safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Learn and complete operational support functions (purchasing, receiving, accounting, inventory).
• Coach and lead shift opening and closing procedures to maintain facilities and equipment.
• Perform daily tasks like Jolt list, PECs, and other daily management tasks.
