Job summary

Zalat is seeking a Shift Manager (Line Coach) to lead the day-to-day operations on the cook line, driving safety, cleanliness, quality and speed while modeling Customer 4 Life Service for peers.

As a line coach you will learn and execute operational support functions (purchasing, receiving, inventory, and accounting processes), coach opening and closing procedures, and manage daily tasks such as the Jolt list and PECs, ensuring peak performance and a smooth shift turnover.

Qualifications

• Supervising a team with at least 1 year of experience.
• Hold a valid Food Manager Safety Certification, or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Exhibiting strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Managing and adhering to schedules.
• Successful completion of a mandatory background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cook line to drive safety, cleanliness, quality and speed.
• Learn and complete operational support functions (purchasing, receiving, accounting processes, inventory).
• Coach and lead shift opening and closing procedures to maintain facilities and equipment to high standards.
• Perform daily tasks like Jolt list, PECs, and other daily management duties.
