Job summary

Minit Stop in Hawaii seeks a dedicated Shift Manager to partner with the Store Manager in Keaau, ensuring smooth daily operations and outstanding customer service.

You will lead training, manage scheduling, monitor inventory, and uphold health and safety standards while developing the team and supporting growth within Hawaii Petroleum, LLC.

You will also perform cashier and cook tasks as needed, fostering a positive, productive work environment that reflects the aloha spirit.

Qualifications

• Candidates must meet the legal requirements for obtaining credentials to sell liquor and tobacco products in Hawaii.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent education preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Acquire TB Clearance and Safe Food Handler's Certification upon hire, and Class C UST Certification and Liquor Cards for any county where Minit Stop operates within 60 days of hire.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow company policies and comply with laws on sale of alcohol/tobacco and food handling.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for store hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations and uphold image and standards.
• Lead training for all new hires and provide feedback.
• Support scheduling, opening/closing duties, inventory monitoring, and ordering.
• Understand cashier and cook duties to meet store needs.
• Ensure health and safety standards, PPE use, and sanitation compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.
• Operate and maintain equipment and report hazards promptly.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
