Job summary

Minit Stop, operated by Hawaii Petroleum, LLC, is seeking a Shift Manager in Kihei, HI. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations during your shift and lead by example to deliver exceptional service.

The position emphasizes training, development of staff, and adherence to company values. You will also help with scheduling, inventory, safety, and customer issue resolution, while growing professionally within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet Hawaii requirements for liquor and tobacco credentials.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
• Acquire TB clearance and Safe Food Handler's cert on hire, plus Class C UST and liquor cards within 60 days.
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations to meet image and standards.
• Lead training for all new team members and provide ongoing coaching.
• Oversee scheduling, opening/closing duties, inventory, ordering, and receiving.
• Fulfill cashier and cook tasks as needed to support operations.
• Ensure health and safety standards comply with laws and PPE usage.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Operate and maintain equipment and report hazards as needed.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
